Tracy Firefighter’s Charity Raises over $5,000 For Local Charities

The Tracy Firefighter's were able to raise $5,800 for charities in the Tracy and Mountain House areas. Both the Tracy and Mountain house "Pancake Breakfasts" were put on in the last two weekends with a cumulative of around 1,000 pancakers. The events were hosted at 1701 W. 11th Street (Station 91) and 911 Tradition (Station 98) in Mountain House. Both events were a blast featuring the "Firefighter Combat Challenge" where the kids were able to dress up in fire gear and crawl through obsticles mimicking fire ground operations. The "cash machine" was also a huge hit with the prizes being a Nintendo Wii and a gift card. All of the money will be donated to local charities and in the past have been given to causes like brighter christmas, Boys and Girls Club, local youth sports programs, Boy Scouts of America, and many more. The Tracy Firefighters would like to send out a special thank you to all of the citizens that came to the breakfast and all of the companies that donated.
